Your carbon footprint and the new
B Corp standards

Up until this year, managing your carbon emissions has been a voluntary part of the B Corp Impact Assessment.

Under the Climate Action topic of the new standards, launching 2026 or from July 2025 for re-certifying B Corps, it will be mandatory for all B Corps to:

Measure a full-scope carbon footprint

Set a science-based Net Zero target

Develop and share your plans to decarbonise, known as a Climate Transition Plan (CTP)
